Ladies, meet Jeremy Meeks. He can tantalize you with his steel-blue eyes, his rock-hard chiseled jaw and a pair of honey lips that can match Angelina Jolie's anytime. No, he's not a model or an actor. He's a convicted felon, and women on Facebook are going bananas over his mug shot.

The Stockton Police Department posted photos Wednesday of four felons arrested following a gang raid, including 44-year-old Joelin Coleman, 22-year-old Terry Bailey, 18-year-old Juzri Coleman and Jeremy Meeks, whose dazzling good looks are sure to have broken many ladies' heart in his 30 years of existence.

His companions haven't gathered as much attention, getting only 600 likes among themselves. But Meeks' mug shot alone has received nearly 29,000 likes, more than 2,500 shares and 8,500 comments by Thursday evening, and the numbers continue to grow as his photo, which looks like it was taken under studio lights and had undergone several rounds of Photoshopping, was picked up by Twitter users and is now making the rounds of the microblogging platform.

Clearly, most of the comments are on the joking side. Here's a sample of what viewers can get in the comments' box.

"Step aside, officers. I'll handle this," says one commenter.

"He can assault me anytime and I won't call the police lol," says another.

"He needs to be cast as the new Christian Grey. Half film production immediately!" declares another.

"It's like his eyes are penetrating my soul. Why is he a criminal - he could have been a model!" cries another.

"I would like to rehabilitate him," volunteers another.

By far, many of the comments focus on the widely popular opinion, at least for the ladies, that Meeks should have been a model instead of getting himself charged six times for carrying concealed weapons. A few women have rallied their girlfriends so they can start raising the $900,000 bail for Meeks, probably hoping to see him on a billboard as the next underwear model for Calvin Klein.

But a few Debbie Downers and Jealous Joes have crashed the party and are berating women for "wanting to date a criminal."

"All these women saying 'free him' because he's too good looking to be locked up... Really?" says one commenter, who obviously wasn't losing her composure over a criminal with smoldering baby blue eyes. "He's pretty sexy not gonna lie... But he deserves to be in there. Why is society so concerned about looks? He's a bad person. Cute or not he deserves to be locked up. Freakin idiotic girls. This society we live in has some issues."

But, of course, for anyone willing to read between the lines, women freaking out over one of the most beautiful creatures to have ever landed in a California jail cell is nothing more than a case of enjoying a piece of eye candy. After all, nobody shamed men for drooling over Meagan Simmons, the 27-year-old "attractive convict" arrested for DUI, so why should anyone give women hell for having a good time?
