Although Taylor Swift's "1989" album tour has been making headlines with fans clamouring to find out who she will call onstage next to perform with her, baseball fans, on the other hand, are dreading the country-pop singer's concerts at their home stadiums.

It seems that each time Swift performs at a baseball stadium, the home team's game immediately after the concert goes terribly wrong.

Swift has just performed in two sold-out shows at the Rogers Centre on Friday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3. Could this spell trouble for Toronto's baseball team, the Blue Jays?

Let's have a look at the timeline of the Taylor Swift Baseball Curse:

July - Washington D.C.

Two days after Swift's sold-out concert at Nationals Park, the Nationals experienced no less than three power outages during their first game back at the stadium, causing the game to be delayed. Before Swift's "1989" tour came to their diamond, they were in the lead. But now, the Nats have been eliminated from the postseason with a 32-39 record.

Aug. 29 - San Diego

The Padres are also out of the playoffs after losing 18 of 29 games post-Swift concert at Petco Park.

Sept. 9 - Houston

Before Swift's concert at the Astros' home turf, Minute Maid Park, the team was running the show with 55-45 and the first wildcard spot. After the concert however, the Astros lost seven out of eight games. They would be lucky now to even make the playoffs if post-season started right this second. They now hold a dismal 8-11 record.

October 2015 - Toronto

All we can say for now is: ???

With the curse of the Taylor Swift concert tour looming over their heads, Toronto Blue Jay fans are sweating at what the pop star's hex could do to their team who will begin their first playoff series in 22 years on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Rogers Centre. Then again, perhaps two curses on a team just might cause the bad luck to cancel each other out - after all, back in 2013, the Drake Curse fell upon the Toronto Raptors basketball team when he was declared the team ambassador. It was decided by the entire sporting world that any team that was associated with Drake would fall under his curse.

With Toronto being Drake's hometown as well as the home ground for the Blue Jays, maybe, just maybe, the Taylor Swift curse will be vanquished once and for all at the Rogers Centre.
