Daniel Bryan isn't giving up on his quest to return to the WWE squared circle just yet.

During a recent interview with IGN, the ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion said the only thing that's standing in the way of his return is a medical clearance from doctors...both of them.

"One neurologist who specializes in concussions—who was the neurologist for the Super Bowl last year—cleared me with no limitations," said Bryan, who suffered a serious neck injury in April. "All my testing came back excellent. But the WWE's medical doctor is skeptical, because of my history of concussions and that sort of thing. So they will not clear me."

What's most frustrating is that his career and passion is being decided by a tug of war between two doctors.

"So now, we have two doctors—one saying no, one saying yes," he added. "They're going to send me to a third doctor at some point in the near future and that doctor will decide my fate."

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old is consumed with thinking about wrestling and what moves he might use in specific situations during matches.

"I do a lot of gardening," he revealed to IGN. "As I'm gardening, I'm thinking about wrestling. I'm thinking about different [things—]like, it would be cool if I did this. And I watch wrestling. And when I'm watching it I'm thinking, 'why didn't they do this', or, 'ooh! That sparked an idea.' Then I'm thinking about that for a long time."

Bryan suffered another serious neck injury in late April, even candidly speaking about it during a May episode of Monday Night Raw.
