Beer lovers have a reason to rejoice as Synek, a convenient draft beer system, can serve beer from the tap anywhere and anytime.

The founder of the project is Steve Young who is looking for crowdfunding from Kickstarter. The project started on June 24 and will run through July 24. The project is expecting to raise $250,000 and the first batch of Synek is expected for delivery in early 2015.

"We believe that beer is an art that deserves to be shared with the world. Imagine, for a moment, that you could have access to every beer in the world fresh from the tap. Your favorite local brewery, your best friend's homebrew, or an international favorite...all available to you wherever and whenever you want it," per Synek's Kickstarter page.

The draft beer system uses a plastic pouch and users can fill it using a simple tube from any draft beer tap. The pouch or the cartridge can hold up to 3.7 litres (1 gallon) of beer. Synek claims that the pouch is vacuum sealed and UV protected, which can keep the beer fresh for over 30 days. Once the pouch is filled, a user can attach it to the dispenser and pour beer from the attached tap.

The Synek dispenser is made of stainless steel and is temperature and pressure controlled. The pre-order for Synek has already started. Beer lovers will have to splash $299 to get the first batch of Synek in April 2015. However, the first batch is limited to 200 units and just around a quarter is left to pre-order. Synek will cost $349 once it starts retailing.

Synek will also be available in a limited edition bronze version and users will have to shed $375 for a unit. The Kickstarter page also indicates that people who pre-order two units of the stainless steel Synek will have to pay $575. Similarly, two units of the limited edition bronze Synek is available for $725 from Kickstarter.

Young believes that Synek will make it cheaper for companies to ship beer directly to consumers. Beer companies will be able to reduce cost on bottling and increase their profit margins if they ship beer to consumers in the Synek pouches.
