James Bond fans are just over a week away from the November 6 release of the film Spectre.

In it, James Bond, played once again by Daniel Craig, drives an Aston Martin DB10, one of 10 DB10 models built especially for the movie. Now, according to CNN Money, Aston Martin will auction off one of the DB10 models used in the film next year, but it will purely be for show. That's because, the car reportedly doesn't have the road certifications for driving. Imagine spending at least $100,000 on a car...and not being able to drive it?

"This is the first time we created a car that was completely bespoke for Bond," David Adams, a spokesperson at Aston Martin, told CNN Money.

007 enthusiasts, however, will be saddened to know that the villain's mode of transportation — the equally-impressive Jaguar C-X75 is not up for sale, despite their being seven models that the automaker created specifically for the film. But the hybrid concept car from the 2010 Paris Motor Show never hit full production lines.

In addition to Aston Martin and Jaguar, Land Rover chipped in by contributing 10 customized Land Rover Defenders and seven Range Rover Sport SVRs for use in the film.

Perhaps Aston Martin felt obliged to put one of its DB10 cars from the film up for auction next year because that's the same time its new DB11 is expected to launch and be sold to the public. The luxury-car manufacturer has also sold Bond-branded DB9 models recently.

Jay Leno recently got to push the pedal to the medal on a Spectre-used DB10 as part of his Jay Leno's Garage show. Check it out in motion below.
