A new study conducted by researchers at the University of Florida suggests that the newly discovered Tanana Arctic could be a rare example of a hybridized butterfly species. It is likely that the creature is the offspring of the White-veined Arctic and the Chryxus Arctic, which both lived in the Alaskan wilderness sometime in the past.
