The unlocked Nokia Lumia 930 is now available in the U.S. Unfortunately; the flagship smartphone is missing a feature that most smartphone users can't live without.

When Nokia launched the Lumia icon, it partnered with Verizon to exclusively carry the company's latest and greatest smartphone. The handset also featured top-notch specifications that put the Lumia Icon on a more level playing with flagship Android smartphones. The handset has been a favorite amongst Windows Phone fans but customers on T-Mobile and AT&T have not received a similar smartphone of their own, until now.

At UK launch of the Nokia Lumia 930, Microsoft said that the new flagship smartphone would not be offered to customers in the U.S. If the smartphone interests you, you'll be happy to know that the unlocked smartphone is now available for customers in the U.S., although it won't be able to access AT&T and T-Mobile's 4G LTE networks due to unsupported 4G bands used in the handset.

Expansys is now selling the unlocked Nokia Lumia 930 through its online store, which features a gorgeous, bright and crisp 5-inch 1920 x 180 ClearBlack OLED display with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone also runs Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 OS out of the box, it is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU (graphics process unit), 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

When it comes to the Lumia 930's camera capabilities, the smartphone is equipped with a 20-megapixel PureView camera with dual LED Flash and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies, it also supports recording 720p HD video. The Nokia Lumia 930 ships with a 2,420mAh battery that will provide up to 15 hours of talking time and 432 hours of standby time.

The biggest consideration when thinking about purchasing this smartphone (if you live in the U.S.) is that it will not be able to access 4G LTE speeds, something most smartphone users see as a standard feature these days.
