The blokes at Ubisoft have finally revealed the minimum and recommended specs for Assassin's Creed Syndicate for the PC lot, and all that.

The latest installment of the annualized Assassin's Creed franchise brought Ubisoft's version of Jolly ol' London to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back on Oct. 23. And as usual, it's preparing to follow the October release of its latest Assassin's Creed game for console with a November release for PC, Nov. 19 to be specific.

So here's the bare minimum that's required of rigs looking to run Syndicate:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 2400s @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX 6350 @ 3.9 GHz
  • RAM: 6 GB or more for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 270 (2 GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0)
  • DirectX: DirectX June 2010 Redistributable
  • Sound: DirectX compatible sound card with latest drivers

For those who want a prettier-than-console experience on their favorite platform, here are the specs Ubisoft has recommended:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64bit versions only)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (4 GB) or the newer GTX 970 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon R9280X (3 GB) or better
  • DirectX: DirectX June 2010 Redistributable
  • Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
  • Hard Drive: 50 GB available space

Because Ubisoft favors Nvidia Gameworks, Assassin's Creed comes with a few extra options for members of the Green Team. For those who stepped away from the series for a breather, this isn't new.

Nvidia Gameworks exclusive features include TXAA for anti-aliasing, G-Sync support for smoothing, PCSS for softer shadows, HBAO+ for ambient occlusion and the GeForce Experience toolbox.

For those with overclocked this and scalable link that, Syndicate will support multi-monitor and multi-GPU setups. And the game will also support multi-sample anti-aliasing.

Noting that the game requires at least 3 GB of VRAM, Ubisoft is warning players to keep a check on the VRAM meter when adjusting the game's settings.
