Virtual reality will soon invade Europe.

The consumer version of Samsung Gear VR is now available for preorder in Europe, according to Samsung's European websites.

In Germany, Samsung has listed this device on its official website. It is priced at €99, or around $106, with the shipping date slated for early December. Carrying a similar price tag (€99 or $106), this headset is likewise listed on the company's Netherlands website.

It is essential to note that this Samsung Gear VR works in tandem with Samsung's devices, which include the Galaxy Note 5, S6 edge+, S6 edge and S6.

Customers in the U.S. can also preorder this headset from Best Buy. This is marketed at $99.99, with shipments scheduled to kick off on Friday, Nov. 20.

Samsung previously unveiled its plan to supply a consumer version of this Gear VR last September. It previously said that shipping will commence in November, and now it's official: preorders have already started.

In the past year, Samsung showcased the Innovator Edition of its Gear VR, which further created excitement among virtual reality fans.

Needless to say, it is highly anticipated to be compatible with Samsung's next smartphones, including the Galaxy S7 which is forecasted to arrive sometime next year.

Not so long ago, we reported that Facebook users on iOS can now view 360-degree videos with the use of Samsung's Gear VR. Facebook partnered with Samsung in hopes of making videos Gear VR-friendly.

In the meantime, T-Mobile recently touted that it is going to be the very first wireless carrier to offer the Samsung Gear VR. The device launches on Nov. 27.

This Samsung VR headset is going to be sold in select T-Mobile shops on the same day. It can also be obtainable via the carrier's online store. It is important to note that not every T-Mobile store will offer the VR headset. As such, it's advisable for users to get in touch with local stores first to check if they will be carrying Samsung's newest device.
