The big stars of the new Star Wars movie are well-established by now, however, it seems as though there are two stars that weren't as well known until people started seeing the credits.

According to the credits from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the voice of the lovable orange droid wasn't simply created using a stellar sound effects team, but was actually done by none other than Saturday Night Live's Bill Hader and Parks & Recreation star Ben Schwartz.

"JJ f---ing around with this sound effects app on his iPad that was attached to a talk box operated by me. It looked ridiculous but it made BB-8's voice," said Hader in an interview with HitFix. "At first I tried doing a voice, but we all agreed it sounded too human."

So, in case you weren't already excited enough about this movie, let two big-name comedians convince you.

Of course, this isn't actually the first time that big-name comedians have had a part in Star Wars. In The Phantom Menace, Greg Proops, best known for his role on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, voiced Fode, the two-headed alien that commentated the podrace on Tatooine.
