Microsoft has inadvertently revealed one of its unannounced devices named the Lumia Phone X. In a video uploaded by Microsoft China, the phone is shown to come with support for Continuum.

Actually, little else appeared in the video aside from showing off how Continuum works. However, the video description claimed that Continuum is presently supported by Acer Jade Primo, Lumia 950, 950 XL and the Lumia Phone X.

While Microsoft was quick to revise the description of the video, Weibo users were able to capture the evidence. They uploaded it and it eventually made the rounds on the Internet.

Gadgetz Arena got a copy of the unedited video description, which it also translated.

"Note: This feature requires a compatible mobile device is intended for use, for example Lumia 950 / XL, Lumia Phone X and Acer Jade Primo," reads a part of the original video description.

Right now, details on the hardware specifications of the Lumia Phone X are scarce. However, speculation is rife that it could be the Surface Phone, which has been rumored about for a couple of months already. Previous rumors suggested the Surface Phone is codenamed "Panos Phone."

At least one source says the phone could come out in September this year and could come loaded with an Intel Atom processor. A 4 GB RAM is also believed to be under its hood.

Speculations suggest a couple of candidates to be the purported Lumia X device.

Previously, a certain Lumia 650 has become the subject of rumors claiming that this will be unwrapped not later than Feb. 1. However, it was also suggested that this could probably house a Snapdragon 210 or 212. Based on the description, the Lumia Phone X supports Continuum, which is only available on Windows Mobile devices featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617, 808 or 810 chipsets.

Other possible candidates could be the Lumia 750 and 850. Rumor has it though that Microsoft could pack in 1 GB of RAM, which is less than the required amount to support Continuum.

At any rate, we predict that this Lumia Phone X or Surface Phone could take the market by storm. It would be interesting to see all the specs and features of this rumored device down the road. We'll be sure to keep you posted if anything surfaces regarding this phone.

Presently, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL have already made a mark in the U.S. market and have been enjoying rave reviews from most users.
