Aston Martin has lifted the veil off its new DB11 supercar at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 on Tuesday, leaving quite a few car enthusiasts drool over its killer looks, noteworthy specifications, incredible exhaust sound and more.

Without further ado, here are the things that you need to know about the Aston Martin DB11 that will surely tickle your fancy.

Killer Looks

In terms of its look, experts are regarding it as "stunning," "incredible," "illustrious" and "gorgeous."

Aston Martin has managed to combine luxury and sport into an elegant, unique package.

The car sports an all-new design, both inside and out. Its standout features include unique LED headlights, iconic Aston Martin grille, front-clinging clamshell hood, double-decker rear fascia, dramatic profile plus its slender taillights.

What Car Technologies To Expect

Inside, the Aston Martin DB11 is packed with a full-color 12-inch TFT LCD display and an all-new instrument cluster. The auto-park assist functionality and 360-degree birds-eye view camera are indeed a welcome treat.

On top of that, the car gets multiple driver-selectable dynamic modes – GT, Sport and Sport Plus.

Stunning Specs

A look under the hood reveals some special tech. The DB11 comes fitted with a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12, which produces 600 horsepower along with 700 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful production DB series yet.

Thanks to stop-start technology, intelligent bank activation and bonded aluminum platform, the DB11 is deemed as the most speedy DB model, too. In just 3.9 seconds, this Aston Martin supercar can manage to do 0-62 mph and can reach a top speed of 200 mph.

How This Supercar Sounds

The 2017 Aston Martin DB11 seems to wow car fans and experts with its "incredible" exhaust sound. Putting the car into sport mode changes the sound it produces from its exhaust.

"[T]he new 2017 Aston Martin DB11 sounds like an exotic blend of burbles and symphonies," says Michael Roselli of Jalopnik. "We welcome your new twin-turbo V12, Aston Martin. We welcome it with open arms."

The Aston Martin DB11 is the automaker's first DB model in 13 years.

Price And Release Date

Unlike other supercars unveiled at the show, the DB11 car's price is within the reach – at $211,995. In fact, the car maker has already received 1,000 advanced orders.

Aston Martin says the delivery of the DB11 is poised to kick off beginning fourth quarter of this year. Andy Palmer, the automaker's chief executive, said during the press conference that he is going to personally inspect every unit before it will be delivered to customers.

“We aspire to make the most beautiful cars in the world. DB11 is the absolute embodiment of what an Aston Martin should be and we have worked tirelessly to ensure that DB11 combines both exceptional design with the latest technology throughout," says Palmer.

"A brand new bonded aluminium platform, clever aerodynamics, a new characterful twin-turbo V12 and class-leading infotainment systems are just a few aspects which make this the sports car that will proudly spearhead Aston Martin’s second century plan.”
