As the HTC 10 rapidly approaches its debut next week, leaks keep piling up before the big event. The latest one now shows the alleged HTC Sense 8 UI, while also revealing the price of the handset.

HTC will officially unveil its latest flagship on April 12, and the HTC 10 is expected to go on sale on April 15 in the company's home country of Taiwan. After seeing Qualcomm tease the #powerof10 and witnessing a massive benchmark leak that revealed the specs of the upcoming flagship, we now get a glimpse of the changes HTC prepared for the user interface and for customers' wallets.

HTC Sense 8 UI

Based on the new photos and screenshots posted by MyDrivers, the purported HTC Sense 8 UI will mark a great departure from previous iterations. It looks clean, clear and smooth, with intriguing new features.

One of the biggest changes seems to consist of the so-called "Freestyle layouts," which will apparently allow users to place their app icons, widgets and stickers absolutely anywhere they want on the home screens. Customizing their appearance will likely be possible as well.

While this is not a new thing for Android, bear in mind that stock launchers from OEMs are typically not that flexible. For this reason, many Android users frequently opt for third-party launchers such as Apex or Nova, which offer higher degrees of customization.

By the looks of it, the HTC Sense UI may take some cues from such launchers, which would be a welcome change.

It's also worth pointing out that these screenshots don't show any on-screen navigation buttons, further suggesting that the HTC 10 will have a physical home button, as rumored. At the same time, the screenshots show that the HTC 10 will have NFC, which was already expected.

HTC 10 Price

The leak also reveals the alleged pricing of the HTC 10. If this turns out to be accurate, a 32 GB variant will cost NT$22,900, which translates to roughly $706, while a 64 GB model will go up to NT$24,900, amounting to roughly $768.

It remains to be seen just which leaks will turn out to be accurate, but it will all become clear soon enough. We'll keep an eye out for HTC's announcement and let you know as soon as we get the official scoop, so stay tuned. In the meantime, take all leaks with a grain of salt.
