Good news, Sony fans! A special treat is in store for customers who preorder the Xperia X, XA and Xperia Ear when they become available.

Sony unveiled its Xperia X series of smartphones along with the Xperia Ear back at the MWC 2016 earlier this year, but the devices are yet to hit commercial availability.

Although the Xperia X smartphones went up for preorder in Europe back in February, interested customers in the U.S. will have to wait a little longer. The Xperia X, XA and X Performance are expected to become available in June and it now seems that preorders are just around the corner.

As the Xperia Blog reports, Sony fans who pre-registered their interest in the Xperia X smartphones are starting to receive promotional emails from Sony, informing them that preorders will soon kick off and will entail an "exclusive offer."

The special treat will reportedly be available for those who preorder the Xperia X, XA or Xperia Ear from the Xperia Store, and Sony promises to notify customers as soon as preorders go live.

It remains unclear at this point just what that exclusive offer will include, as Sony offers no details in this regards. It could refer to a special discount, some bundled freebies or something of the sort.

Considering that only the Xperia X, XA and Xperia Ear are mentioned for this promotion, it's possible that the Xperia X Performance will not come with the same exclusive offer.

The promotional email also included Sony's latest Xperia X official advert, which mainly focuses on the camera and the Predictive Hybrid Autofocus trick. When you're about to shoot a scene, this feature will automatically track the subject and predict its next move, thus keeping it in focus at all times.

According to Sony, the Xperia X rocks the fastest smartphone camera ever, allowing users to snap a quick photo in just 0.6 seconds thanks to the quick-launch button and speedy image processing.

Check out the video below to get a better idea of what the Xperia X has to offer, and get ready for those preorders bound to kick off soon.
