Sony's much-rumored Xperia X6 Ultra phablet is in the limelight again as more supposed images and an alleged video of the handset have leaked online.

Several images of the purported Xperia C6 Ultra smartphone have surfaced online, including a video of the impending smartphone. It is believed that the Xperia C6 Ultra and the Xperia C6 are the same device.

This is not the first time rumors pertaining to the Xperia C6 offering from Sony have emerged online. Earlier in January, we reported that the handset with Bezel-free display was spotted online.

The latest leak comes courtesy of well-known leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer who also goes by the Twitter handle @OnLeaks. Hemmerstoffer not only posted a video of the render of the alleged Xperia C6 Ultra smartphone on YouTube, but also shared some images of the impending handset on nowhereelse.fr.

"A few weeks after making a first appearance on Chinese social networks, the future successor of the current C5 Ultra XPERIA we will call for now XPERIA C6 Ultra (this name has yet to be confirmed ...) redone about him through a 3D animation design and revealing confirming its passage dimensions (translated)," notes Hemmerstoffer.

The "tech leaks SuperStar" (by his own admission) also asserts that the leaked images/video are of the "SONY XPERIA C6 Ultra render based on original Factory 3D CAD."

The leaked renders point to a svelte handset with non-existent bezels. The Xperia C6 Ultra, per @OnLeaks, will sport a massive 6-inch Full HD screen with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phablet will house an octa-core MediaTek MT6572 processor which will be clocked at 1.9GHz, as well as 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone will be 8.4mm (0.33 inch) thick and have similar dimensions to that of its predecessor, the Xperia C5 Ultra. The Xperia C6 Ultra is also expected to boast the Mali-T860 graphics chip.

The colossal smartphone from Sony will also tout a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, which is likely to find favor with selfie lovers. The phablet will also include a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The Xperia C6 Ultra from Sony will also offer 16GB of storage, as well as support for expandable memory thanks to a microSD card. The battery size of the smartphone is not known.
