Fans of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film have a lot to be excited about. The movie is currently being filmed in Detroit where the Batmobile is causing problems for bad guys, and Jimmy Olson might not have legs.

However, something else has popped up that could send fanboys in a frenzy, and that is the possibility of Robin featuring in the film. It is highly unlikely, but anything is possible these days with DC, ever since it was announced that Wonder Woman would finally feature on the big screen.

On the set of the new movie, folks who were nearby captured something very interesting on their cameras. Apparently, one of the trains on the set was spotted with a Batman and Robin graffiti, leaving some to believe that the boy wonder might pop up in the film, one way or the other.

Before people go ahead and rip their heads off in immense excitement, bear in mind that this could be the work of a mere fan.

For those who watched The Dark Knight Rises, there was a Robin logo in the football game scene. Apparently, it was created by a fan, and Warner Bros. did not bother to have it removed, so there is a chance a similar thing is happening here.

Could there really be a Robin in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

It could happen, but we don't believe it will. From what we understand, Batman is in his mid-40s, and by then he should already been through at least two Robins. We expect that his first Robin, Dick Grayson, would likely have already walked out to become Nightwing, so unless Tim Drake is swinging around Gotham, which is also unlikely, then a Robin in the new film will not happen.

With the number of characters bound to pop up in the film, we doubt it would have any room for a Robin. If Warner and DC are smart, they could use Ben Affleck's first solo Batman film to introduce Tim Drake into the universe.

All in all, folks should simply keep the idea of Robin being a part of the movie out of their minds because becoming excited about it will likely lead to disappointment in the future.
