Sometimes, the best thing to do is just come home from a long day and put your feet up after fetching yourself a nice glass of wine. Now, dog owners can do the same for their dog when your four-legged furry friend is having a bad day, too.

Consumers can now sip on some fine wine together with man's best friend, thanks to a new line of pet-friendly beverages made specially for canines.

The Denver, Colo.-based company wine company for pets Apollo Peak announced the launch of a new line for dogs. The dog wines consists of two different options, CharDOGnay and ZinfanTail, so that your sophisticated pup can enjoy the finer things in life alongside their owner.

Before you worry about your dog getting too drunk by finishing off a bowl or two, the dog wines from Apollo Peak are actually nonalcoholic. So, no, you are not poisoning your pooch or purposefully getting him or her buzzed.

The 12-oz bottles of wine for dogs consist of a blend of beets and herbs and do not contain any grapes, a food that is seriously bad for their health. In the case of the ZinfanTail option, the beets give the beverage its deep wine-like color.

To give the calming effect a glass of wine gives humans, Apollo Peak users peppermint or chamomile in the options to give the dog the same relaxing effect. Just keep in mind that some dogs could be allergic to chamomile and it should only be consumed occasionally. Consult with your vet before serving up a glass of the wine just to be sure there is no risk.

This isn't the first time the wine for pets company has stirred up something special for animals. It previously launched a line of wines for cats in June, which are also nonalcoholic. The MosCATo, Catbernet and Pinot Meow options also contain all-natural ingredients like beets, along with organic catnip grown in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. to give kitties their own buzzed feeling.

Now, consumers don't have to feel bad about drinking alone and can include their pets in the festivities in a safe way. Just consider it a much-needed treat for when you are both having one of those days or when celebrating some major milestone like your dog learning a new trick or not eating all your shoes.

The 12-oz bottles of CharDOGnay and ZinfanTail are available for preorder on the company's website for $17.95 each.
