If there was any doubt that Apple would be releasing two new iPhones, updated Apple Watch 2 and wireless AirPod headphones, all these devices have just received certification. The Eurasian Economic Union has issued certificates for the new hardware expected to be announced on Sept. 7.

Apple just confirmed its Sept. 7 press event, and the company is planning to launch two new iPhones, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The pair will replace the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as Apple's flagship smartphones and the first devices to ship with iOS 10 out of the box.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to be offered in a new Space Black color option and possibly a Metallic Blue, according to recently leaked images. The smartphones will use a virtually identical design to that of its predecessors, but one major change will be the removal of the standard 3.5 mm headphone port. Instead, Apple will ship the handsets with updated EarPods that will plug directly into the Lightning port used for charging and data transfer.

A report in January claimed that Apple was also planning to launch wireless AirPods headphones alongside the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Now, a new report appears to confirm AirPods will be announced at Apple's Sept. 7 event, as they have received certification from the Eurasian Economic Union, in addition to the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch 2 obtaining the same certificates.

The filings refer to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus by model numbers A1778 and A1784. The listing divulges that 10 different Apple Watch 2 models have been certified. It was believed that Apple might possibly launch its new wireless headphones under its acquired Beats brand, but the documentation appears to confirm the AirPods will be Apple branded and marketed as official iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus accessories.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Retina displays and will be offered in storage configurations of 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. Just leaked specs sheets show the iPhone 7 will rock a 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), while the iPhone 7 Plus will include a 12-megapixel dual-lens rear camera. Both smartphones will also ship with larger batteries than the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch 2 will sport a new GPS chip that will provide enhanced navigation and fitness features and larger internal battery.

We'll be covering Apple's Sept. 7 iPhone and iPhone 7 Plus event and will bring you all the latest details.
