Chris Brown has put himself on the online chopping block yet again with his latest tweet regarding his opinion of the ebola virus outbreak in West Africa. In the wee hours of Monday morning, Brown posted his insights stating that he thinks the outbreak is a form of population control.

His conspiracy theory did not sit well with netizens who were outraged by his insensitive tweet, given that the virus has thus far killed over 4,000 people in Africa and infected at least 8,400. The second U.S. infected ebola victim was reported on the same day as Brown's post.

The legally embattled R&B singer, nicknamed Breezy, seemed to have a slight change of heart just a few minutes after his original post (which he has not deleted), saying, "Let me shut my black a.. up!"

Previously, it was reported by Brian Curtis of NBC5 in Dallas, that Brown's mother had reached out to the family the first U.S. Ebola victim, Thomas Eric Duncan, to offer help. The second infected victim on U.S. soil, is Nina Pham, who was a nurse on the team caring for Duncan.

While Brown's tweet certainly doesn't help dispel some rumors and truther conspiracy theories that have been going around about ebola and the possibilities of the outbreak spreading outside of Africa, CDC Director Tom Frieden takes to his own Twitter account to inform the public of the facts about ebola.

"CDC continues to work hard w/ many others to reduce #Ebola risk to Americans by ending outbreak in W. Africa," he tweeted on Oct. 14.

Given the possible break in safety protocols in handling Duncan at the Dallas hospital where he was being treated, everyone that came into direct contact with him is currently under observation.
