Netflix has continued to reinvigorate the TV scene, leading many pundits to opine that the world is currently living in the golden age of programming, given that streaming Stalwarts Hulu, Amazon instant Video, and many others are hard at work to loop audiences in with original content.

For Netflix, there would be no shortage of new content alongside old imports this coming year. The 2017 lineup, like last year's, is seemingly spare, though more should be announced shortly as 2017 pushes forward.

Orange is the New Black, for example, has already been gifted a three-season renewal but it's not listed on Netflix's official lineup, so is Netflix regular House of Cards, meaning more announcements are definitely in the offing.

With binge-watchable original Netflix content aplenty, the company's programming queue will surely appease even the most petulant film or TV buff. Here's what to look forward to on Netflix in 2017.
