Inspired by Snapchat and Instagram, Tumblr is all set to introduce stickers and photo filters for its Android and iOS app users.

The update to Tumblr's iOS and Android apps will also bring more exciting features such as the ability to cover a GIF post with stickers.

"If you make a GIF through Tumblr messaging in the app, you'll have an opportunity to cover it with stickers first. And if you use an iPhone, Tumblr has an iMessage app that you can use to make GIFs and text them to your contacts. Stickers are a part of it now," notes Tumblr in a blog post.

What's New?

Users will now be able to choose from 100 relevant stickers that would make the entire conversation even more delightful. With a flurry of options available in terms of selecting the sticker, expressing the relevant emotion won't be a problem.

Apart from the latest addition of stickers and filters to the GIF maker and photo uploader, Tumblr is all set to provide its users with something new to indulge in while using the app.

The new collection of stickers range from the Tumblr logo to speech bubbles, sunglasses, Corgi dog, money stack, VR helmet, and several other options of expressing oneself.

Since Tumblr believes in experimenting and creating new elements for its enthusiastic users, on this occasion it has worked on bringing 3D aesthetics to its collection of stickers, which have a distinct charm.

The new features are not only pleasant to look at, but these stickers are colorful and relevant, as compared to the ones available with other networking platforms.

With the events such as Black History Month and Valentine's Day around the corner, Tumblr shall be rolling out some more unique stickers based on these themes.

How To Create A New Sticker?

Users can even create a sticker if they want. The whole process of creating one is quite easy. All a user needs to do is make a GIF post or a new photo. Once done, tap on the face icon at the bottom of the screen.

Also, if one wishes to use a filter, they simply need to tap on the wand, followed by a swipe to the left or right to switch over to the various styles.

Those who do not see these stickers on their Tumblr app, you can get it updated from the App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android.
