The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 will soon come to a close and while it did not see the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S8, many new smartphones were unveiled at the event.

Samsung's absence from the event notwithstanding, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are still the blue-eyed boys of the rumor mill.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has leaked again and the renders are from BGR, which has managed to get its hands on few live images of the smartphone's AT&T variant.

What The Leaked Images Reveal

Based on the leaked images, the Galaxy S8 is seen sporting a black backdrop with top bezels, which is larger than the bottom bezel. The image also shows the 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a loudspeaker located at the bottom of the mobile phone.

One can also notice the 12MP dual rear-camera on the back panel of the rumored handset along with the flash and sensors. The fingerprint scanner is also seen located on the back of the device, which affirms previous rumors and leaked images.

The removal of the fingerprint sensor from the home button in the front has given Samsung the space it needed to develop an all-screen smartphone with minimum top and bottom bezels.

On the blue screen wallpaper, one can see several icons like the Amazon Shopping icon, Message box, call, camera and also the AT&T network icon indicating it is the carrier variant. The handset houses the Power and volume buttons on one side edge while the other button is believed to be connected to Samsung's new virtual assistant Bixby.

Early Speculated Features

The Galaxy S8 device is expected to come loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ models are expected to come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage along with a microSD memory expansion support of 2 TB.

The smartphone is also speculated to come loaded with the IP68 dust and water protection and sport a 12MP rear camera and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Release Date

There has been no official announcement so far regarding the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy S8 and its big brother Galaxy S8+. Rumors are rife that the smartphones may be unveiled at a Samsung event in New York City on March 29.
