The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are leaking on an almost daily basis. The latest revelation comes in the form of a short video, which shows the smartphones powered on and sized up against one another.

Samsung just finished up presenting some new tablets at Mobile World Congress 2017, in the form of the Android 7.0 Nougat-based Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Book, which runs Windows 10. The company also used the event to reveal the launch date for its upcoming and highly anticipated Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Samsung has reportedly doubled first shipments of the new smartphones based on sales projections.

Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Leak

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have begun to leak on a near daily basis, which appears to be accelerating the closer we get to that official launch date. Most recently, the Galaxy S8 showed off its 5.8-inch display and new on-screen buttons, since Samsung has removed all physical buttons from the front of both handsets. An image also leaked, which showed the 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 next to the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8 Plus, with each handset's Always On-Display in full view.

Galaxy S8 And S8 Plus Appear On Video

Slashleaks posted the video, which confirms the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will have very thin bezels on the top and bottom of their displays, while the curved edge screen melts into the sides of the devices. The video also confirms that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will include the standard 3.5mm headphone port and abandon the microUSB for a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor or an in-house Samsung Exynos chipset (U.S. version will be Snapdragon), run Android 7.0 Nougat, and include 4 GB of RAM. The devices will have a premium metal and glass design that will be waterproof, dust-resistant, and include wireless charging capabilities.

Users can expect a 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. The Galaxy S8 is believed to have a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery, while the S8 Plus will supposedly include a 3,500 mAh battery.
