Ahead of the anticipated June 20 reveal date, the OnePlus 5 stars in a TV ad in India, showing off all its curves and dual cameras.
Now the flagship killer flaunting two sensors isn't surprising at this point, but this time around, we get to see a full shot of its entirety in an all-new, although blurry, light — aside from the early listing at OppoMart, that is.
OnePlus 5 Gets A TV Ad
During the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 between India and Pakistan, which is one of the biggest cricket matches in the sport's history, the OnePlus 5 commercial aired, coming in as a showstopper of sorts.
It featured the company's brand ambassador in India and Bollywood celebrity Amitabh Bachchan taking the smartphone out of its case while mentioning the June 22 release date in the country.
As if things couldn't get any better, it showcased the full OnePlus 5 in all its glory with the official tagline "Dual Camera. Clearer Photos" at the end of the clip.
OnePlus 5 Will Have Dual Cameras, But What Else Is New?
Almost everybody saw this coming from a mile away, but the OnePlus 5 will have dual cameras. Aside from leaks and rumors, the smartphone maker itself has already confirmed this via a tweet.

The question is, what else is there to the commercial? Well, nothing much that haven't been making rounds already, but at any rate, it falls in line with the renders that got out to the public earlier than planned.

OnePlus Goes All In
On an interesting note, OnePlus India jumped aboard the hype train, staying for the ride in full steam with the hashtag #IndvsPak. By "full steam," we mean that the company is even holding a giveaway for the OnePlus 5, but before anyone gets their hopes up, it's likely to be restricted to residents in India.

The Bottom Line
Long story short, the OnePlus 5 now has a TV ad, and it's rolling out globally on June 20 and in India on June 22.
As a refresher, the OnePlus 5 will have a Snapdragon 835 under the hood and a slim form factor, and it's expected to be available in four color options: black, red, gold, and a gradient referred to as "unicorn." Of course, it'll be equipped with a dual-camera setup too.
