AT&T has some neat buy one, get one (BOGO) deals in store, allowing for heavy savings on Samsung's latest flagships: the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy S8 Active.

Black Friday is almost here and just like every year, a slew of enticing deals are popping up to fuel the shopping bonanza. Each year, carriers compete with each other to offer the most attractive Black Friday deals and lure in the most customers. During this time, smartphones are available at some of their lowest prices ever.

AT&T BOGO Deals

AT&T has already launched its Black Friday 2017 page and although it has yet to list all of its deals, some attractive BOGO offers are already in place for a limited time, not necessarily tied to Black Friday. Not all handsets qualify for a full BOGO, however, as some of the more expensive ones will require a price difference.

Interested customers can currently pick up a number of top flagships on an AT&T Next plan and get a second one free of charge or heavily discounted. Samsung's latest flagships are not the only ones available on BOGO deals, as the carrier is also offering the LG G6, the LG V30, the LG X Venture, and the Moto Z2 Force Edition.

Galaxy S8 BOGO, Other Heavy Discounts

The BOGO deals apply only to customers with a qualified service and require adding a new line to one's account. Interested customers will have to purchase two Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, Galaxy S8 Active, or Galaxy Note 8 devices, and the second one will be free via bill credits of up to $750. To get the full price of the device discounted, customers will have to stay on the respective AT&T Next plan for the entire duration of the service agreement.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 costs $749.99, available on AT&T Next with $25 per month for 30 months or $31.25 per month for 24 months. The Galaxy S8 Plus or Galaxy S8 Active cost $849.99 while the latest Galaxy Note 8 goes up to $949.99. Once all the monthly credits are complete, the second smartphone will essentially be free, or just a fraction of its total cost.

The bill credits are of maximum $750, which means that only the Galaxy S8 qualifies for a full BOGO. The Galaxy S8 Plus, Galaxy S8 Active, and Galaxy Note 8 are heavily discounted, but customers will have to pay the remaining difference beyond the $750 in credits. This means that for a Galaxy Note 8 BOGO, customers will have to pay $250 for the second device. It may not be free, but it's still an attractive offer.

Terms And Conditions

Customers will have to pay tax on the full retail price of both devices in the BOGO deal. AT&T requires postpaid wireless voice and data service on both smartphones. The minimum for a new service is $70 per month while existing AT&T customers can add to their current plans as long as they're eligible. Canceling the wireless service on one smartphone on the BOGO deal before it's due will require paying the device balance, which can be up to $950.

The activation fee for each device is up to $25. Unsatisfied customers can return the device within 14 days, but they may have to pay a $45 restocking fee for each unit.

Lastly, both smartphones on the BOGO deal have to be on the same account and remain active for at least 30 days to qualify. The free wireless line has to be active on an agreement, and with eligible service for the whole term of the contract in order to get all credits.
