With 2014 International CES set to kick off in a couple of weeks, an Indonesian website has inadvertently leaked information that Sony is preparing to release several new smartphones soon.

The Indonesian website, which supposedly keeps track of items shipped in and out of the country, posted seven new model numbers for Sony smartphones, Phone Arena reported.

While Sony announced earlier this year that it will no longer be unveiling its flagship Xperia devices at the CES to prevent premature leak of information about its devices in the market, the seven new phones might just be unveiled at next year's CES.

The new models numbers posted on the Indonesian site include the Sony D5503. The D5503 appears to be the international release version of the Docomo exclusive Sony Xperia Z1 f. The Docomo Z1 f is a smaller version of its larger sibling, the Z1. While the Z1 f has the same specifications as the Z1, the smaller size means that the Z1 f has a lower screen resolution at 720 x 1280 pixels on its 4.3-inch screen. The Z1 f also has a smaller capacity 2300mAh battery. Aside from that, both the Z1 and the Z1 f have a 20-megapixel rear camera as well as a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Aside from the D5503, the Indonesian website also posted a Sony device with the model number SPG521. The SPG521 is said to be a Wi-Fi equipped variant of the Xperia Z Ultra. However, the SPG521 could also be a variant of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z as evidenced by the fact that the Xperia Tablet Z is identified under the model number SPG321. Other models include the D2105, the D2005, the D5503, the D5322 as well as the D6503. The Sony D2105 is quite possibly a successor unit of the Sony Xperia L due to the similar model numbers. The Sony Xperia L is identified under the model number C2105.

Aside from the information contained in the Indonesian site, new Sony devices were also put through their paces by the benchmark test AnTuTu. This is further evidence that consumers may indeed see a throng of new Sony Xperia devices at the upcoming CES this coming 2014.
