Jared Leto, who will be playing The Joker in the 2016 Suicide Squad movie, recently shared a hairstyle on his Instagram page, and he tagged it, "Haircut. #2015." Now, this photoshoot was done back in 2011, so there could be only one reason why Leto is considering reviving an old haircut.

The haircut is quite interesting because it looks similar to The Joker, and could very well be the haircut he'll sport in the movie. Bear in mind that the words he used to tag the photo suggests that this is the haircut he'll be wearing in 2015, and we all know that during a movie shoot, actors don't usually change hairstyles very often.

Now, if this is indeed the haircut, we expect the director David Ayer to have a few changes made. We'd love to see the color green added to the hair, for that would give us the traditional Joker look and feel. Furthermore, hopefully, Leto's version of The Joker strays far from Heath Ledger's version, because fans won't be pleased if it is a direct rip-off.

We understand that Jared Leto is set to appear at Pinewood Toronto Studios for the Suicide Squad pre-production in February, so we expect him to be in character, if only slightly. Full production won't begin until around April, and the film is not set for release until in August of 2016.

As it stands right now, it is going to be a long wait for this movie to come out, and this shouldn't be a problem though because DC fans should be used to playing the waiting game by now.

We must say though; we definitely like the hair, and while the new cut could be for something entirely different, we can only hope it is for The Joker role. Additionally, it would be great if Leto signed a multi-picture deal with Warner, because if the actor does an excellent job, we'd love to see him in other DC properties going forward.

Still, we would rather if they keep Joker as far away as possible from a stand-alone Batman movie because we've seen those two go at it too many times before in the past.
