A Denver man recently purchased a PlayStation 4 video game console at Wal-Mart only to find, when he got home, that the package was missing the console itself. Hidden inside the box were two bags of rocks in the same spot where the PS4 should have been.

According to the customer, Igor Baksht, he bought the PS4 for his 13-year-old daughter and was quite surprised when he found out that the package was filled with rocks after tearing it apart. Naturally, he went back to the Wal-Mart store where he bought the Sony console but failed to get a refund.

He tried several times but each employee he spoke with only chose to give him the runaround instead of replacing the console, returning his cash, or directing him to the manager. Ultimately, this forced the Denver man to report his case to a local news station KMGH 7NEWS.

Lucky for the customer, the manager at this particular Wal-Mart store chose to have a word with him and also to see the contents of the box.

Baksht made it clear that he was more interested in receiving a PS4 bundle similar to what he bought or a PS4 with two games. If the Wal-Mart store was unable to meet his demands, then he would require a cash return and, from there, he'll seek out another merchant.

"If they give me a PlayStation, I'll take a PlayStation if they give me the same bundle that I paid for. If they give me another console plus two games, I'll take that, but if they don't have it, I'll take the money back and buy it from somebody else," said Baksht.

Baksht should consider himself lucky because without proof that he wasn't the one who placed the rocks inside the box, Wal-Mart would not be required to take it back and give him a brand new PS4.

In addition, we should point out that this particular PS4 was brought back by a customer, but the employee did not check the package to see if everything was up to scratch.
