Rumor has it that OnePlus is going to follow up the OnePlus 7 Pro with the OnePlus 7T Pro.

Some new photos making the rounds online show a purported prototype of the smartphone in question. It's far from official, but it's not unlikely, considering that the OnePlus 3, OnePlus 5, and OnePlus 6 all got upgraded T models soon after they launched.

The Alleged Pictures

Posted by a user on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo (via Slashleaks), the pictures that claim to show off a prototype of the OnePlus 7T Pro reveal that the handset won't be too different from the OnePlus 7 Pro, from the notchless design to the nearly bezel-less display.

OnePlus 7T Pro In The Cards?

Notable tipster Max J tweeted that OnePlus is working on another "OnePlus T version," lending credence to the rumors. What this exactly means is still up in the air, but it could be referring to not only a OnePlus 7T Pro but also a OnePlus 7T in the works. However, it's still possible that only the Pro model will get a T variant.

It's unclear how it's going to build on its predecessor, but the word in town is it's going to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise since the OnePlus 3T did get a Snapdragon 821 when it succeeded the OnePlus 3, which houses a Snapdragon 820 chip.

Going by previous release dates, and assuming that the OnePlus 7T Pro is real, it could be announced sometime in October and roll out in November.

As always, it's better to take this news with the proverbial grain of salt, though, as nothing is official until OnePlus makes an announcement about it.
