The Crown Tundra is the second downloadable content (DLC) from the Pokemon Sword and Shield. It revolves around the theme of "Exploration." Once it is released, the trainers will have to venture into a mountainous and snowy region.

The second DLC will feature new temples, Pokemon, and strange environments. One of the most awaited updates of the game is the upcoming two new Legendary Pokemon, which are expected to arrive on Oct. 21. There will also be some old Pokemon's new shiny variants.

The Crown Tundra's release date and time

According to GFinity Esports' latest report, the second DLC is expected to be released at 5:00 a.m. BST/4:0 a.m. UTC, Oct. 13. This means that trainers will be to play the game earlier than expected.

The Crown Tundra will feature new Pokemon and legendaries, new costumes, new Gigantamax forms, and a new area to explore, where players can roam around freely and control their camera, just like the previous wild area.
