'Pokemon Go' has definitely been coming out with a bang with a lot of different things happening all at once like the special 'Pokemon Go' Verizon event, the AR Mapping tasks that give players uber realistic graphics, and even pretty neat in-game facemasks?

The 'Pokemon Go' AR Mapping tasks by Niantic

According to an article by Engadget, Niantic has finally announced the AR Mapping tasks that are for Trainers level 20 and above. This event is now happening after almost five months after the initial announcement of the company about this feature.

When players try to spin a PokeStop that is given a mark "AR Mapping" tag, they'll then get a new Field Research Task asking them to open the known AR scanning screen in order to explore the area around.

This new technology by Niantic is something they've been trying for quite a while as they aim to get the Pokemon to actually interact with real-world objects like hiding behind a tree trunk and more. The feature was previously called "Reality Bending".

The 'Pokemon Go' Verizon Event

According to an article by Super Parent, Verizon has just recently sponsored an in-game 'Pokemon Go' event! The event will only be available for Verizon users located anywhere within the United States and will take place on November 7 from 11AM to 2PM.

The event will allow participants to complete in different exclusive Timed Research tasks in order to receive XP, Stardust, one Star Plece, three Incense, 100 Charizard Mega Energy, and even encounters with Spoink, Chansey, Bronzor, Absol, Gible, and also Sewaddle.

In addition, if the ticket holders would activate their incense during the event, there will be a special selection of different Pokemon attracted to this Incense. This includes Charizard, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Unown V, Pikachu, Unown Z, Patrat, Sableye, Ferroseed, and Minccino.

'Pokemon Go' Verizon Face Mask

Acknowledging the importance of Facemasks, the 'Pokemon Go' is now letting Verizon subscribers get in on the action. The important cosmetic addition also makes for quite an in-game appearance and this is something that only Verizon users can get in game.

According to an article by Polygon, Verizon subscribers will now be able to download an exclusive outfit that actually includes a particular black-and-red facemask. The catch is it has to be downloaded straight from Vorizon's very own website.

  

'Pokemon Go' Survives the Pandemic

Despite utilizing a concept that was almost completely paralyzed during the pandemic, 'Pokemon Go' was still able to find a way to get users to play the game even remotely. This is exactly the reason why Pokemon is still alive and strong even today when the outdoors have changed forever.
