Three movie theater companies offer private rentals and viewing experiences for anyone who wishes to do so, for a specific price. The companies are as follows:
AMC
- Head on to the company's website to view schedules, locations, and availability of private viewing rooms. (AMC Theater's Website Rentals)
- Fill out the necessary forms. Indicate the Date, Time, Movie, and Contact Details.
- Reservations should be atleast a week early, according to the theater company.
- PRICE: $99 for Old Releases; $149 to $349 for New Movies (all subject to additional taxes)
Alamo Drafthouse
Check-out the company's website to view availability, schedules, and nearby locations for accessibility and convenience. One can also select "party size," or the number of people who will join the theater rental. (Alamo Drafhouse's Website Rentals)
- The next page would take one to enter personal details, including name, contact number, payment information, and other additional requests from the company before confirming the schedule.
- PRICE: $163 with a minimum required $150 charge for food and drinks (this does not include the movie tickets and access)
Cinemark

- PRICE: $99 to $149 (subject to change price depending on movie, location, and time)
What Protocols to Observe?
AMC's private rental can accommodate up to 20 people for the maximum price of $349 for a new movie's one-time viewing experience. The company is also charging an additional $250 corkage fee to bring food (theater-available food are prohibited from bringing, e.g., popcorn)
Alamo Drafthouse's private rental can accommodate up to 30 people per group. Alamo's policy prohibits the public from bringing food because of the requirement to purchase food and drinks worth $150 from the theater company.
Cinemark allows a maximum of 20 people per group and fee. The company also allows the public to bring outside food but with the exception of the available theater food.
