The full schedule for the Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 has been released for a full week of speedruns, which gamers can enjoy from the comfort of their home beginning on Jan. 3 at 11:30am EST.

This year's AGDQ schedule includes a massive menu of games. Check out some of the select games players may choose during the week-long Awesome Games Done Quick Speedrun 2021.

 

 

 

 

Awesome Games Done Quick Schedule

The gaming event will be continuously broadcasted from Jan. 3 until Jan. 10, so players can choose when to join the games the play at their own convenience. Those who are not really familiar with the speedrunning community would also look into who are running the game aside from just picking which ones to play. 

This list provides chance to watch some of the best runners break it down live for charity, which is always fun to watch.

 

 

 

'Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes' (Tyler2022)

"Metal Gear Solid" (MGS) speedruns are almost fantastic additions to GDQ lineup since most of the exploits in the games are insane and even levels up such insanity for another three notches. 

As one of the premier  speedrunners, Tyler2022 hold top three in multiple games across the MGS  franchise. This includes a world record for the Extreme category of "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty's All Dog Tags." Watching him run Twin Snakes will be a great treat while there will also be an MGS4 run on Jan. 4.

'Luigi's Mansion' (HDlax)

HDlax is also one of the speedrunning's biggest names, particularly for the "Luigi's Mansion" franchise. He is the current world record holder for Any Percent category in the original version and rank 5^th in "Luigi's Mansion 3."  The AGDQ run will be in the Any Percent category, so it will be a great opportunity to hear the best in the world break down his approach.

'Pokémon Blue' (eddaket)

After recently setting a new world record for the "Pokémon" Catch 'Em All category, eddaket will be taking players throughout the original "Pokémon" games to round out AGDQ 2021, which tend to end most GDQ events. The top speedrunner is always involved in either as a speedrunner in the games or a commentator. 

"Hades" (Vorime)

Vorime breaks up the continued use of the older, popular titles. He remains one of the world's best "Hades" speedrunners and he will put the game to a test live on Jan. 5. This is a bonus game, which might not be shown off depending on incentives and time.

'The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword' (Gymnast86)

"The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" will be hosted by Gymnast86, a top runner in nearly every Zelda title. watching him do his best game, The Legend of Zelda's livestream is going to be great. It is likely not to remain for too long of a run since it is Any Percent and Skyward Sword has a various fun tricks that make speedruns interesting, particularly when a world record holder hosts the segment.
