The COVID-19 pandemic has already claimed nearly two million deaths worldwide, with many still fighting for their lives in overcrowded and undermanned hospitals, so it's not surprising that there are people who can't help but call out anti-maskers or individuals who refuse to wear a mask in public, something that the World Health Organization (WHO) and local governments are encouraging and even mandating people to do.

Viral TikTok Video of an Anti-Masker
Over the course of the pandemic, there have been several viral videos of anti-maskers being called out for their rude and selfish acts--and now, another one has been caught.
However, this time, people's reactions are mixed.
In a report by 7News, TikTok user @cecenewchapter caught an exchange between one woman and an anti-masker and her kid and has now gained over three million views on the short-video platform.
According to the news, the woman can be heard angrily yelling at the anti-masker and her daughter that her "son is without a father" due to COVID-19 and also called them "self-absorbed" while in the midst of an angry tirade at a grocery store in the United States.
The child on the video can then be heard saying that she is "just a kid," to which the masked woman responds, "And your mother should be teaching you better."
Apparently, the woman got angry at the mother and child after they have refused to wear face masks inside the grocery store, with the mother even saying that a mask "doesn't protect you" from the coronavirus.

Met With Mixed Reactions
Although these types of videos are often met with a majority of comments commending citizens for calling-out anti-maskers, this particular video drew people with mixed reactions on both TikTok and Reddit, saying that the woman had been too harsh yelling at a young kid, who the people believe is just going along with her mother.

Many commented they are sorry for the kid for getting dragged into the whole thing, as the video clearly shows her distress.
However, many have also responded that the mother should have worried more about her child compared to her belief and that they hope the young girl can learn from the situation and help her mother realize how wrong it is.
Nevertheless, there are also many who sided with the masked woman.
Wearing Masks is Still a Must
Some have left comments saying they can hear the grief and pain in the woman's voice, while some said it should not be optional to wear a mask in every state.
The people have also started calling the older anti-masker a Karen, something that people have been calling middle-aged white women who seem to be entitled or demanding.
According to a previous report by the New York Times, experts still encourage people to wear masks, even those who have been vaccinated or are going to be vaccinated to help stop COVID-19 once and for all.
With the arrival of Pfizer and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines, many are hoping to see the end of the pandemic, despite new variants showing up worldwide.
