Nintendo is finally opening its doors to an extensive documentary on Crackle, featuring its almost 130 years in existence as it started as a playing cards manufacturing company to a consumer electronics empire today. Fans would get to see and learn more about the development of its products, characters, and popular gaming titles that popularized animated characters.

The popular entertainment and consumer electronics conglomerate from Japan, Nintendo, would be debuting its colorful career on a limited five-part documentary series that would air on Crackle on March 1. "Playing with Power: The Nintendo Story" would see the highs and lows of the company, and its transition to electronic gaming from its previous ventures.

According to Explica, the limited documentary series is under the direction and writing of Jeremy Snead. Moreover, it would be featuring Executive Producer and series Narrator Sean Astin, best known for his role as Samwise Gamgee in "Lord of The Rings" trilogy. 

Snead is also known for his direction in "Video Games: The Movie" which explores gaming and pop culture that surrounds the titles that are most loved by gamers throughout the years. Several important and key figures in the gaming industry will join, with the likes of Will Wheaton, Ron Judy, Reggie Fils-Aime, Atari's Ron Bushnell, and Xbox's Phil Spencer.

'Playing with Power: The Nintendo Story': How to Watch, Release Date, etc.

The series would debut on March 1 on Crackle, releasing all of its five episodes on the platform in one drop. Crackle is a free streaming platform that was founded and debuted in the country in 2004. The streaming platform features original series creations, along with other titles from the Movie and Television industry. 

Crackle featuring Nintendo is one of the most impressive and ambitious releases of the streaming platform, as the Kyoto gaming giant features a long stretch of a career in the industry. Furthermore, the company's history coming from the late 19th century holds one of the most extensive storytelling it can have. 

However, the series would feature the best of Nintendo, its struggles, and its presence in American pop culture and the modern era.

Nintendo features one of the most interesting histories and development through the years, as it maintained a stronghold of more than a hundred years in the entertainment industry. Moreover, the company is the eldest amongst its competitors in gaming, Sony, and Microsoft's Xbox. 

Additionally, the company also brought out a handful of gaming products and merchandise in the late 20th century that inspired the creation of modern consoles and items in the world. It is safe to say that Nintendo is one of the pioneers in modern gaming, bringing a new mode of gameplay that offered the 8-bit titles that are beloved by early gamers.
