Virgin Media is currently suffering from a massive internet outage, which affects thousands of its broadband users. The giant internet provider's users complained that they are struggling to get online.

The issue was first confirmed by the popular online website checker service Downdetector.

"User reports indicate no current problems at Virgin Media," said the online tool.

The highest number of user internet connectivity issues is more than 2,200, which was recorded at exactly 8:00 a.m. on May 4. On the other hand, Virgin Media company also confirmed that said issue, saying that the only affected customers are those located in the South West of the United Kingdom.

The giant internet provider added that the internet connectivity issue was already fixed before 10:00 a.m. This is a serious problem since more than 6.1 million people are using Virgin Media's broadband service.

If you want to know if your internet service is also affected, here's what you need to do.

On the other hand, you can also try to contact Virgin Media's official contact website. Once you do that, there will be a customer representative to assist you.

You can also inform your internet provider via post, online, or phone so that they can properly help you with your concern. If your Virgin Media broadband is really slow, you can contact them to have a free WiFi booster even without an outage.

However, you need to check first if you are in a blackspot area. On the other hand, it will only be free if you are a Virgin Fibre user with Maxit TV. If you want to know more details, all you have to do is click here.
