PS Now First Day-One Release Game

As per a news story by Game Rant, the rival subscription service of Sony PlayStation, Xbox Game Pass, is known for including gaming titles on the same day of its debut.

The news outlet further noted that PlayStation Now offers its users hundreds of PS5 or PS4 games. However, its library is limited to older gaming titles.

It puts PS Now at a significant disadvantage to its close rival, the subscription service of Microsoft, the Game Pass, which offers its users fresh games to play.

This time around, though, Sony's own subscription service is now following the footsteps of Game Pass by releasing its first-ever day one launch game.

'Shadow Warrior 3' PS Now Day One Launch

According to a recent report by Games Radar, the PlayStation Blog confirmed that it would be releasing the upcoming first-person shooter game, "Shadow Warrior 3" on its gaming service on March 1.

On the same day, the third installment of the "Shadow Warrior" would be available for purchase outside of PS Now as well.

However, it is worth noting that those who have pre-ordered the upcoming first-person gaming title would also get its two other siblings, namely the "Shadow Warrior" and the "Shadow Warrior 2."

On the other hand, subscribers of PS Now will have to purchase the older "Shadow Warrior" games to get their hands on the trilogy.

Games Radar noted in its report that the upcoming "Shadow Warrior" game was previously scheduled to release in 2021. But it was pushed to 2022 to "sharpen its blades," its developer Flying Wild Hog said last October.

PS Now Games March 2022

Game Rant said in the same news story that PlayStation Now has yet to officially release the upcoming gaming titles that are coming to the service this March 2022.

The only confirmed title for the meantime is the day-one launch of the "Shadow Warrior."

However, subscribers of the game service should expect the other games coming in the next month to be older gaming titles-similar to the February 2022 release.

To manage expectations, the previously released games this Feb. includes "Through the Darkest of Times," "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Definitive Edition," "Little Big Workshop," and "Death Squared."
