Comic Book Gaming reports that "Mortal Kombat" and "Injustice" creator Ed Boon discussed a new game that is coming from NetherRealm Studios, which he also leads. The teaser focuses on a new title coming from the company, and Boon says that it is breaking the pattern of its game releases, unlike previous showcases.
Boon did not discuss anything about the game further, stopping on his statement about "breaking the pattern" on the developer's releases in the market. Currently, Boon is shaping up a new release for the company, but it did not discuss any details or gave hints to what this next release would be, especially as NetherRealm took quite some time for its showcases.

It will almost be five years since the last release of the game's franchise, with massive speculations of the upcoming game having a title next to the "Injustice" word.
The last release from "Mortal Kombat" was last 2020, with "MK 11" bringing the popular 3D arcade fighting game, which remains as one of the goriest games in the world.
Ed Boon's announcement is a massive implication that the developers are already creating a new game as of this report's publishing, focusing on the secret game from the two franchises.
