Mac Mini with Apple M2, M2 Pro Chips?

According to a news story by 9to5Mac, the sources of the news outlet are saying that Apple is currently working on two versions of the next-gen Mac Mini. An entry-level that sports an M2 chip and another version that features the M2 Pro chip.

It is worth noting that Apple just recently released a new computer system for professionals that goes by the name Mac Studio. It notably carries a similar design to the Mac Mini.

However, the Mac Studio is not only bulkier in size, but it also boasts more power than the Mini.

As per a recent report by Apple Insider, the new Apple desktop system still uses the M1 chip series, introducing the most powerful of them all, the M1 Ultra. But it also comes with an M1 Max chip.

As such, the new machine still separates itself from the Mac Mini, which only goes to show that Apple is not killing the latter despite the arrival of the Mac Studio.
