Capcom's "Street Fighter V: Champion Edition" will be getting a new set of updates in the next two weeks, according to the latest report.

In line with this, the video game publisher released a trailer on Thursday, March 17 so the fans could take a peek at the potential improvements that will soon be added to the game.

The Japanese developer also clarified that the upcoming update will be the last update that will bring the major balance changes for "SF V."

A new definite update for 'Street Fighter V Champion Edition' is coming this March 29. Here's what to expect.

According to a report by Event Hubs, the latest Capcom trailer tells more about the potential updates and changes for the new patch. The clip, which runs for three minutes and 26 seconds, will tour the gamers to the upcoming package for the "Champion Edition."

Particularly, "Street Fighter V" will introduce interesting features in the game including new Tracksuit colors for the characters, cel-shading graphics filter, and the pixel graphics filter. The two last changes will only be made available for offline playing.

To note, there's a new balance update for more balanced gameplay, not to mention the Cap-Jams remixes in the game. These include several themes from select characters such as Akira, Luke, Rose, Dan, and Oro, per Gematsu's latest article.

'Street Fighter V' to Expand Combo Routes

Going back to the trailer, we could see that there are fresh looks for fight-and-punch combos in the game. There was a time that Ryu was dashing forward after throwing a fireball at his opponent. This was made possible even though the V-Trigger 1 is enabled.

This means that you can execute another set of combo en route to EX dragon punch at mid-screen.

Additionally, we could see that the V-Skill 2 received some improvements. In case you launch a good parry against the attacker, Ryu can generate a wall bounce thanks to it. He can even add more damage with these V-Triggers.

There's another EX variant for Ibuku's Kasumigake which will land a huge blow to the enemies upward. Judging from the latest trailer for "Street Fighter V," we could expect that the power level of the characters will drastically rise.

For the official launch of the "Champion Edition" update on March 29, an expanded set of combo routes will be presented. This will benefit especially those characters on the top tier list.

The Issue Behind 'Street Fighter VI' Logo

After the hype that fans felt on the trailer released for the new "Street Fighter" installment, some players expressed their disappointment over Capcom's logo for the sixth edition.

As Tech Times spotted back in February, the "Street Fighter 6" logo looks like clip art at first glance. Aurich Lawson from Ars Technica said that it came from the stock site of Adobe.
