According to the story by The Verge, Stray is an adventure game by Annapurna Interactive that involves players navigating the cyberpunk-inspired world as a feline. The game has gained a lot of attention not just from gamers, but also from cats.

Cats have started to become invested in the game as well and more gamers are starting to tweet about it. The Twitter account @CatsWatchStray shares different videos and photos of cats all trying to watch Stray with utmost focus and curiosity.

Compared to a lot of content out in the world, the content being uploaded is wholesome and shows curious cats trying to explore. Players can easily see cats being "unbashly invested in the game."

 

Single-Player Game Turns Into a Duo with Cats

The article by The Verge notes that this could be due to the realistic in-game animations and the fact that the game also provides a button that is dedicated to meowing. As per the article, although the game is a single-player game, cats are joining in the fun.

In the video, the dog can be seen giving curious intense looks at the in-game cats trying to roam the world. More tweets, however, focused more on cats and how they were trying to interact with the in-game cat on the screen.

The "Stray" video game is now available on Stream, the PlayStation 4, and the PlayStation 5 for $29.99. As per The Verge, players that subscribe to the Extra and Premium tiers of the PS Plus will be able to play the game for free and with no extra cost.
