This photo taken on May 10, 2020 shows a man checking a dashboard touch screen in a Tesla car on display at a showroom in Beijing. - Auto sales in China, which experienced a record low due to the coronavirus outbreak, are recovering as some Chinese seek an alternative to public transportation, but the upturn remains fragile.

Electrek reported that when using a full screen on Theater Mode, users now have the option to minimize where they can already access different vehicle controls without interrupting the viewing experience. This can be done by tapping the minimize button on the top left corner of the window.

Once the button has been tapped, the video will continuously play in a smaller size on the right portion of the screen where maps are usually seen. This will give users access to different controls such as the frunk, trunk, door locks, and more.

Compared to the previous version of Tesla Theater, once users have started watching a certain movie, series, or any video on full screen, exiting the whole video will be the only option for them to use the vehicle controls.

Tesla 2022.28 Software Update

The first deployment where the newly added feature was spotted in a Model Y Performance was in North Holland, the Netherlands, just this weekend, confirmed by Update Tracker and Data Logger TeslaFi via Twitter. Meanwhile, Tesla owners are currently using 2022.20 and 2022.24 updates.

Though it may take some time to roll out the updates on all users as the update is still in the final stages of testing for the employees, it will be an improvement to Tesla, where users might be delighted, even if it's just a small change.

Adding to this is the company is known for disseminating updates slowly, as this helps them to reduce risk and give customers the best update possible.
