There's a special active heating garment that instantly warms your body without any involvement of batteries or insulators. Apparently, the Entropy vest can change its state of matter to give heat to the wearer.

It might appear as something that you can only see in sci-fi films or video games, but it's really available in real life. It has a liquid phase-change material to keep you warm in extremely cold conditions.

According to Fast Company, the Entropy vest is a one-of-a-kind garment that you can wear to stabilize heat inside your body. It contains a cyan gel that is capable of heating you up for up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Petit Pli, the clothing firm behind this invention, specializes in creating solution-driven products that adapt to the world's modernity.

Per Ryan Mario Yasi, the CEO of Petit Pli, there's a Littlehumans line that is designed for kids. It's not your ordinary shirt that gets unusable if a child grows in size. It can expand up to seven times longer than the youngster, so even after some years, it can still fit your child.

Yasin likened the Entropy Vest to this creation. The only difference between the two products is that the heating garment excels in giving warmth to the wearer without using any electronic materials.

The company stays true to its invention by allowing the wearer to wash and wear it without encountering any problems with its heating system. It works like a normal shirt that you can clean during wash days.

What's With the Phase-Change Material

Trend Hunter reports that the Entropy vest is an all-modern version of a wearable with vein-like channels. Since it does not rely on any insulating components, it will instead require the person to boil it so it can recharge and function once again.

This futuristic-appearing vest typically fits on robot movies because it features a switch that you can tick on and off whenever you like.

Through the phase-change material, the Entropy vest's liquid activates and releases heat as part of the "magical" chemical reaction. The heat will then flow to the vascular system of the wearable.

Petit Pli did a great job transforming the liquid inside the vest into a "comfortable gel." For 45 minutes, it will heat up until it becomes ideal for cold environments.

The company says that when a human body warms up, the vest cools down in an instant. Yasin pointed out that this instance prevents any overheating issue for the part of the wearer while not requiring the person to remove its layers.

Petit Pli explained that the vest gel is "infinitely reusable," which means that you can use it all over again. However, the clothing giant said that its performance might decline after some time.
