According to an interview with YouTube TV's Neal Mohan (via The Verge), there will be an upcoming YouTube TV feature this year with massive ties to the NFL Sunday Ticket. It is the split-screen feature that will allow sports fans to watch multiple games in one sitting, without needing to surf through its channels to catch different matches.

This is the first time that YouTube TV publicly claimed this feature, one that centers on a multi-screen experience for the platform.

Moreover, this YouTube TV feature will center on a "mosaic mode," where four mini-screens will be available on the television app to feature the games of the day.

One of the largest news that came in 2022 that centers on sports streaming is the highly coveted NFL Sunday Ticket which was previously looking for a new home after its decades stint with DirecTV. Initial rumors started in 2021 when Apple one of the largest streaming companies who offered its bid to be the new home for the games.

However, towards 2022, Apple dropped out of the competition already, for unknown reasons from the company despite a long time it pushed its efforts.

This was also the same time that YouTube TV gained prominence in its bid for the Sunday Ticket, where it was one of the most shocking turnouts in the acquisition of the rights for the games.

In 2023, the new home of the NFL Sunday Ticket will head over to YouTube TV with all the games of the season, centering on the streaming platform to deliver the live and on-demand games. With the new split screen feature, users will have the chance to stream multiple games at once, which will deliver up to four games in one experience.
