Robotic Companions and Pets

The world is already up in the robot industry, with many innovations for different focuses and features available for their needs.

Some focus on providing help to massive processes like plants and warehouses like the famous Boston Dynamics' Spot robotic dog, one that has displayed its capabilities in work and entertainment settings.

On the other hand, robots are also helpful in the medical field, particularly for patients who suffer from neurological conditions like dementia. In this application, researchers have observed that dementia patients were overall more joyful when given a robotic cat as their companion, boosting their overall mood despite their condition.

Still, some create or develop robots that focus on companionship, learning, and entertainment purposes.

CES 2023 does not only bring the latest innovations and developments in the technology industry but also serves as awareness for the readily-available devices and tech for people to use.

Spotting the AIRUDIT robot dog reminds us that robots were not only made by humans for work, but also for one's entertainment, companionship, and further learning in the growing field of technology.
