A man from Phoenix listed his Tesla Model S in the worldwide accommodations website Airbnb.

Yes, that's right. Somebody listed their electric car as a place for somebody else to sleep in.

The owner of the Tesla Model S, which costs $118,000, is Steve Sasman, who is also a part-time driver for Uber. Sasman's full-time job is in vacation rentals.

Sasman is charging $85 for up to two customers who want to spend a night in the electric vehicle. Now customers can "try out" the Tesla Model S without paying the electric car's steep price tag.

Sasman outfitted the trunk of the car with a twin airbed, along with linens and some remote-controlled electric candles. The candles are there in case customers want to set a nice mood, Sasman explains.

"I've already slept in this thing three times so why not let other people do it?" said Sasman in an interview with CBS 5 News.

According to the listing of the vehicle, tall people should not apply to sleep in Sasman's Tesla Model S.

"Sorry, NO NBA Players allowed," Sasman wrote, adding that despite his love for the sport, the vehicle is just simply too small for people over the height of 6'6".

Sasman's Tesla Model S hotel comes with several perks such as having the electric vehicle's air conditioning or heat running all night, due to the car operating without the usage of gasoline. The vehicle is also secure, as the car will be locked inside Sasman's attached garage.

In addition, customers will have the ability to play any music they want on the Internet through the car's 17-inch monitor.

As Sasman is also a driver, he is also offering to drive customers around town inside the vehicle if customers are willing to pay him an extra fee.

Customers are also very much welcome to access certain parts of his home.

"As the Tesla is of course my transportation, I would request that you are up by 8am so I can get to work," Sasman wrote. However, Sasman adds that the time is flexible, with Sasman open to agreeing to other arrangements. Customers are also free to stay in Sasman's condo after sleeping in the Tesla Model S, and could continue their sleep in his couch.

Sasman has owned his electric vehicle for four months. His Airbnb listing for the world's first Tesla hotel has been up for a month, but so far, nobody has taken advantage of his offer.

"To sleep in it one night is to give somebody a taste," Sasman said. "They get to spend some time in the car, experience it without actually buying it."
