"The Super Mario Bros. Movie" is letting people see a new look at its main character, and this is in the form of "Cat Mario," a special costume known for its first appearance in 2013. The upcoming movie that will show later this Easter season will feature a super-powered version of the plumber, best known as his "Super Bell" mode known to gamers.

There seems to be a lot going on for the upcoming "Mario" movie from Nintendo and Illumination, being one of the anticipated animated films this year.

Nintendo and Illumination seem to have more teasers up their sleeves, as they released a deeper dive as to what the movie will bring to gamers come its release. On its latest spot called "Smash," Mario was given a chance to activate a power-up, and this is known to gamers by punching or hitting the question mark box to give the character new gear.

In this clip, "Cat Mario" was introduced, as well as a new insight as to how Seth Rogen delivers the voice of the beloved Donkey Kong.

Here, DK mocks Super Mario for getting the catsuit, but when the giant gorilla was about to attack the onesie-sporting plumber, the scene was cut short.

Nintendo yet again teased what Cat Mario has to offer, leaving more to the imagination for when the movie drops.

What Does 'Cat Mario' Bring to the Games?

For gamers familiar with Cat Mario, it is a known power-up together with the "Super Bell" item. According to CNET, it is the central power-up in Nintendo Wii' Us "Super Mario 3D World" in 2013.

Additionally, it is one of the most powerful suits for Mario in the franchise, something that would knock the smile off Donkey Kong's face.

One of the main concerns for an adaptation of Nintendo's most famous game franchise is how the directors, writers, producers, and actors will portray it. There have been many Mario adaptations in the past, but with no luck, they did not satisfy fans and gamers who are avid supporters of the franchise.

That all changed when Nintendo and Illumination teased Chris Pratt's voice and his portrayal of the famous game character via a trailer.

The teaser also shared the first look at what the Mushroom Kingdom looks like, alongside several elements familiar to all.

In its second trailer release, there have been sightings of the famous Mario character, Yoshi, but was not explicitly confirmed to be shown in the movie. With the two trailers already giving gamers and fans much information, expectations are already building up as to what the studios have made for the upcoming film.

The latest trailer now shows more of what to expect in the movie adaptation of the game, featuring a crazy element known in later "Mario" games. There are specific spotlights here as well, including Seth Rogen's Donkey Kong which it showcases his voice and how it fits the character, as well as Mario's onesie power-up.
