MacRumors forum member that remains anonymous shared a leak regarding a complete redesign of the iPhone's Control Center for the upcoming iOS 17 system. This reputable source is best known for also leaking details behind the iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island before the feature was revealed to the public last October.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously reported that the iOS 17 will feature "nice to have things" for the iPhone's operating system when it reveals this June.

Putting two and two together, this may be one of the nice things that iOS 17 will deliver to iPhone users in the future, enjoying more of an upgraded Control Center soon.

Will Apple Change the Control Center for the Next iOS?

The last redesign of the iPhone's Control Center was made in 2011, with the iOS 5 showcasing the swipe from below series of shortcuts and settings that would make the smartphone's use easier and more manageable.

Instead of going to Settings at times, users need only to swipe up and go on their merry way.

While notch-equipped iPhones had a different gesture for the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner, there were not many changes from it.

The Control Center is not aching for a revamp, but it may very well be a welcome addition to refresh what the users see and interact with in their everyday use of their iPhones.

What to Expect on WWDC 2023 and iOS 17

The Worldwide Developers' Conference 2023 is coming, with Apple already gearing up for its showcase of events this coming June, to give the world a look into what it has been doing for its technologies. One of the most anticipated releases in WWDC 2023 is the famed Apple AR/VR headset which has been long rumored to be under development.

And while many are skeptical about its release, there are still a lot of other things to look forward to for this year's developers' event.

The different operating systems of Apple will see its first public introduction to the world, with significant expectations behind the iOS 17, the successor of the iOS 16; iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS 14, and more.

Many are also looking forward to the revelation of the xrOS, also known as the system that would power the mixed-reality headset.

The iOS 17 is still one of the most awaited reveals in WWDC 2023 as there is a significant number of iPhone users in the world who will benefit from the new features and capabilities of the new OS. In the latest leak from a reputable source, the Control Center would see a redesign that would change the way people use it, hopefully for the better.
