A new chapter and season are coming to "Fortnite." The latest leak details what to expect for the island's environment, suggesting a desert or tropical theme upon its drop. "Fortnite" Chapter 4 Season 3 will shake things up for the battle royale game, centering on a significant cosmetic revamp that changes the setting and experience.

Previous updates and events on "Fortnite" added significant changes to the Battle Island but only added elements that bring more to users, and not an entire revamp of the map.

'Fortnite' Chapter 4 Season 3 Leak: Desert or Tropical Theme Coming

A Twitter user called "Wenso" claimed that new files added with version 24.20 are pointing to new content coming for the next major update of "Fortnite." This centers on palm trees and cacti appearing throughout Battle Island, one that suggests the new Desert or Tropical theme that would be accessible on its regular map.

The latest version update reveals the upcoming integration of this new theme for the "Fortnite" island, centering on a revamp of its urban or mixed-urban setting where houses and buildings are prominent.

However, it is important to note that this is not yet confirmed by Epic Games or "Fortnite" for its upcoming Chapter 4 Season 3 update, which is yet to be announced by the company.

Will 'Fortnite' Chapter 4 Season 3 Bring the New Skins from Survey?

Wenso added that this new theme might join the previous skins that were unveiled via "Fortnite's" survey, one where it asked users about their opinion on the upcoming cosmetics for their avatars. There is a compilation of more than 210 skins coming to the battle royale game that remains unreleased, with the leaker claiming that some will arrive soon.

'Fortnite' and its Development from Epic Games

One of the most iconic things for "Fortnite" is the continuous development of the game from Epic Games, which centers on different events and festivities in real-life that arrive in it. A famous example would be the Halloween season's festivities seeing its counterpart in the game called "Fortnitemares" which delivers a spooky and fun experience throughout.

Not only that, each Chapter or Season sees a significant change from the past ones it released, with the Battle Royale, Creative, and other modes receiving new content for all to enjoy. Leaks previously centered on overhauling the game's maps and experiences, one centered on its "Paradise" content that was accessible to all.

While "Fortnite's" past events only added certain themed experiences in specific locations on the map, the company is looking to change things for this next update. If the leak is accurate, gamers may soon be experiencing new content to enjoy in the game, with either a Desert or Tropical theme that revamps the experience from its suburban setting.
