Most of the upgrades will be minor stuff for the next Windows 11 upgrade, according to a rumor.

Many Windows users expect to see huge changes on Windows 11 following the rumored launch of 22621.1776 in the Release Preview Channel.

There are certainly several additions that are coming soon, but according to TechRadar, you might get a bit disappointed once it becomes official for public use.

Some of the features that are allegedly arriving are Voice Access and Live Captions.

The first one is focused on speech and text dictation. The support is expected to cater to various dialects across the UK, India, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.

The second feature is self-explanatory. We could soon use live captions available for the following languages.  Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French (France, Canada), German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal), Spanish, and Korean. Other English dialects are also included.

Aside from these features, Microsoft could bring new commands for text. As such, they will be useful for editing and selecting texts from a word or a phrase.

Windows 11 is Bringing VPN Status Icon and CABC

For those who want to save electricity, the upcoming CABC or Content Adaptive Brightness Control will allow you to do so. You can charge your laptops through it along with other devices.

Furthermore, the next Windows 11 major upgrade might release a new recognized VPN profile or status icon. Once you link to the VPN, this symbol will appear on the main menu.

While the "Moment 3" update remains questionable at the moment, the minor changes for Windows 11 should be the least of your worries because the accessibility still receives an improvement regardless.

Here are the other features that we could see by the time the update drops, per Windows Central.

  • Bing AI button in the Taskbar search bar
  • Cloud suggestions in Simplified Chinese IME
  • Create live kernel dumps in Task Manager
  • Multi-app kiosk mode
  • New presence-sensing settings
  • The search box will be lighter when app mode is set to light
  • Access keys in File Explorer
  • USB4 settings page

Missing Taskbar Feature Returns on Windows 11

According to Windows Latest, Windows 11 KB5026372 build could finally revive the missing taskbar support this month. The report says that we can soon switch it manually, but who knows what other changes will reshape the taskbar clock.

The article also includes that the "ShowSecondsInSystemClock" feature will be excluded in the OS beginning with Windows 11 v21H2 release.

The performance issues might have pushed Microsoft to remove it on Windows 11 in the past, but it's still a mystery why the Redmond firm decided to give it the comeback it deserves.
